2015 Rugby World Cup - les Bleus meet the All blacks in the quarter finals

France is a two time finalist of the rugby world cup, winning the bronze medal in 1999 against Australia and in 2011 against New Zealand. It also finished 4th in 2003 and 2007.

After three victories and one defeat, the French Rugby team, the XV de France, have been drawn against the All blacks of New Zealand in the quarter finals of 2015 rugby world cup being played in England. The France-New Zealand match is scheduled for Saturday October 17th, 2015 at the Millennium stadium in Cardiff.

In their campaign, the XV de France overcame Italy 32-10 on September 19th, 2015. In the second match played on September 23rd, 2015, les bleus dominated Romania 38-11, before registering an impressive 41-18 victory over Canada on October 1st, with 5 tries.

On Sunday October 11th, the Bleus conceded their first defeat against Ireland to finish 2nd of group D. The team coach, Philippe Saint-André, has asked his players to analyze this defeat in order to better prepare for the big game against the All Blacks.
