Humanitarian French support in Uganda
In 2014, the amount of the french humanitarian support in Uganda is 300 000 €, in response to the contribution call by the Ugandan Goverment and the United Nations Agences related to the mass infflux of south-sudanese refugees since the 16th of december 2013
100 000 € have been allocated to the United Nations Hight Commission for Refugees in Uganda (UNHCR)
This action supports the critical sector of water through trucking and supply of water to 16,000 refugees in Adjumani and Arua districts for 4.5 months.
200 000 € have been allocated to the World Food Programme in Uganda(WFP)
This project aims at providing life-saving relief food assistance for 50.000 asylum seekers and refugees during 13 days who have arrived in Uganda fleeing fighting and insecurity in South Sudan since December 2013 .
